The first one (the one which was on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives) suddenly closed on January 6, 2013. We recently went to Kansas to try out this restaurant. Unfortunately we did not have a positive food experience. We loved the historical aspect of the diner (Route 66, Jesse James, etc.). However, the food left plently to be desired. The Aztec chicken looked nothing like the dish that appeared on the episode and was less than satisfying.
